Tournament Committee:

    Perceived duties of a tournament committee

             Address all matters relating to playing Poker within the confines of the Rules of Poker, House Rules and              the Code of Ethics of  the ADELAIDE POKER CLUB Style and organise Tournaments according to              members needs within the confines of the Above mentioned.

    Specific responsibilities

             Set calendar of events

             Set Structures for all individual events (not including Poker rules)

             Gauge The needs of members as to the style and pricing of events etc

             Inform/Update members of any specific changes in structure of events.

             Co-ordinate with the Committee and The Matchroom management regarding any matters towards               running  events.

             Enlist assistance in running and co-ordinating tournaments. All Tournament Directors are to be fully               informed of specific requirements of  running particular events.

             Set Calender of Events

             Set dates for regular events

             Earmark special entry events and diarise for follow up.    

             Ensure that all members are aware of regular and special events, giving them the appropriate time to              enter events.

             Set structure for all events

             Buy in Amounts

             Chip Structure

             Blind Structure and Antes

             Prizes

             Seating arrangements

             Movement arrangements

             Dealer arrangements

             Carry-Over features

             Entry payment

             Late starters limits 

             Gauge needs of members

             Maintain a general awareness as well as present yourself as a point of reference in order to be in a              position to absorb members needs and preferences. Without discretion Pass on members ideas to the              appropriate committees for consideration

    Co-ordinate with committee and The Matchroom

             Ensure that all events are conducted within the guidelines of the ADELAIDE POKER CLUB.

             All events are able to be accommodated by The Matchroom management

             Act as a go-between the Members and the committee.

             Enlist outside assistance to co-ordinate tournaments
